But it was so very very windy that it made our ears hurt. We had no hats or earmuffs with us, so this had to suffice.

A few shots from San Francisco in June, where we admired the view of the city from the roof of Macy’s, took the tram up and down the iconic slopes, explored the city, did some shopping, and met the very interesting San Francisco twins who happened to be having a mocha at the Cheesecake Factory at the table next to us.

The F1 was such a long time ago, but I thought I should still just post some of the pictures I took from the night here. By a stroke of luck, Dad managed to get me a pass into the VIP lounge hosted by Hong Seh Motors, so apart from being right in the midst of many Ferrari owners and fans, I also had a fantastic view of the track and the finishing line. The experience was amazing; being able to experience the power of the engines up close (even the ear plugs were only minimally helpful in blocking out the sound), catching the action of the very fateful and eventful race at Marina Bay and being able to see some of it first hand, and experiencing the luxury of the hospitality suite with its free flow of champagne and extensive buffet spread were all certainly very memorable.

Much has happened since I last blogged – the O&G posting has come and gone, a holiday has been had, the F1 Grand Prix came to our sunny shores, Radiology at CGH, Mambo for the first time ever (wasn’t particularly memorable or exciting unfortunately), finished another HK drama courtesy of my CGmates, picked up tennis -again- with a weekly lesson at the Bedok SRC etc. I shall kick things off with this plate of yummy-looking sush, from where I no longer remember – just because I’m craving japanese food again.
